We're Baaaaaaaack!!!

Hi Everyone!

It's been a long time. We are so sorry about the extended delay in updating our blog. We both have been saying for weeks now that we need to put something up but neither of us seems to find the time. We will try, try, try to get better about this. We love doing this blog but, unfortunately, we can't always seem to fit it in.

Let's catch up, shall we? Going backwards through March (I'll do recent April in a day or two):

We took London to her very first carnival. She had so much fun! She had talked and talked about riding the Ferris Wheel but when she finally got up close to it, she decided better of it. It wasn't until she rode a few other rides that she decided to give the Ferris Wheel a try. There are no pictures, however, as the poor girl had her little head in my lap the whole time. Ahh, maybe next year.

She managed to flip the guy off in front of her for cutting her off. Drives like her Daddy, she does.

This one was not such a good idea. London's too young, Mommy's too old.

This one is more our speed.

I really thought she'd freak on the swing but she loved it and we rode it twice.

Of course, being that it's pink, she loved this one!

Before that, there was Easter. We go every year to my step-brother's mother-in-law's place. She has an acre lot out in Apache Junction where, somehow, the weather is always perfect. There is tons of food, lots of family, a big egg hunt and she even gives out door prizes. We are thankful to be included on this holiday.

Kirby and his basket. He has no clue what's going on but a toy cell phone is a toy cell phone as far as he's concered!

Daddy, get it out! I have calls to make!! Time is money!!

Somehow the Easter Bunny knew London's favorite color in pink. I don't know how he does it.

Look! More toys with lots of itty-bitty pieces to lose! Yay!

On to the hunt!

Go, Baby Girl, go! Get those eggs. Mama needs chocolate! And, no, Mommy was NOT telling her where to look. Not once. Or twice. Or even the whole time. Honest!

So what if one of them broke open and the jelly beans scattered? A little dirt never hurt anyone!

Yeah, yeah. I see it! Now go get more chocolate! Mama's blood sugar is dipping!

Here's the precious girl with all of my her loot. Good job, Sweet Pea!

A little earlier in the month:

Boy! Are you finished with those dishes yet?

Quit yer cryin' and git ta work!

Hello, Child Protective Services? I'd like to file a report. They're makin' me do all the chores around here. And there's more...

They're lettin' my sister do her own hair!

And feedin' me cookies for breakfast.

And forcin' us to sleep inside the ottoman. Hurry!

Before CPS was alerted to our bad parenting. We spent two weeks in March sicker than dogs:

We spent several days piled like puppies. Jammie wearin' puppies, that is.

Have you seen a sadder sick puppy face? I haven't.

This one is sick, too. She just doesn't look like it. The little trooper.

Even though Lil' Dude was sick, we still missed his "I'm ready for a nap" signals.

Even when he's sick we do our best to ignore him. It's a skill, really.

But before the little turkeybutt got sick:

He found the trash bags. This is what happens when you go upstairs and ignore your kids for 45 minutes. Now I can only leave him unattended for 30 minutes, tops!

See, Mom, this is how you do it. First you take the trash bag out of the box...

How can anyone get mad at this little face? I defy you to try!

This face, however:

This one, I can ignore. It's not that hard once you get the hang of it.

It's good training, boy. You'll thank me later.

Love to you all. We'll update again real soon! I promise!

Fun pictures of the kids. Enjoyed them. What happen to the pretty pink Easter dress we bought? Maybe she just wore it to church. Busy, busy time with those two. Enjoy them, it goes by so fast!
Love you guys, Mema

Mema,

We went to Easter services on Saturday night to avoid the crowds and make Easter day a little less hectic. She wore her dress then. Since, I knew we'd be out in the dirt that day, I had her just wear some regular clothes.

Now that I think of it, I don't think I got any pics of her in her Easter dress other than the ones with the Easter Bunny. :(
